Trigger.dev
Open-source background jobs for TypeScript — long-running agent tasks without timeouts, with retries and realtime status.
Overview
Trigger.dev runs TypeScript tasks on its own infrastructure or yours, with no execution time limit, automatic retries, and checkpointing so a task waiting on an external call is not holding a server. Tasks are plain functions in the application repo, deployed with a CLI, and observable from a dashboard with realtime streaming back to the frontend — which suits agent runs that report progress as they go.
Why it's indexed
For a Next.js team the shortest path from "the agent times out on Vercel" to a job that just runs.
