v1.7.0

  • Added/tools — a directory of the infrastructure under the agent: frameworks, sandboxes, coding agents, MCP infrastructure, observability, memory, data, vector stores and auth. 47 products across 9 categories, each cross-linked to its MCP server where one is listed. No prices, latencies or star counts in the copy; a build-time audit rejects them.
  • Added/disclosures — how the site makes money. Affiliate policy in FTC-standard wording, the list of every affiliate relationship rendered from source (currently none, and the page says so with a date), sponsorship terms, and how referral tracking works. Linked from the footer.
  • ChangedPrivacy policy gained an Affiliate & Referral Tracking section — which cookies an affiliate link can set, who sets them, and what we do and do not receive. Effective date moved to September 11, 2026.
  • AddedTwo more layers in /tools: Orchestration & Workflows (n8n, Temporal, Trigger.dev) and Hosting & Deployment (Vercel, RunPod, DigitalOcean), plus Cursor and Windsurf under Coding Agents & CLIs. Vercel cross-links to its MCP server.
  • ChangedTool pages can now carry an affiliate link. When one does, the page shows the disclosure above the fold before the link, the link is marked rel="sponsored" and labeled, and the build fails unless the vendor is named on /disclosures. Today no tool carries one.

v1.6.1

  • FixedCorrected /methodology, which said there is “no paid placement” while /advertise sells sponsorship. There is no listing fee and inclusion is not for sale; sponsorship now has its own section, with the list of what it does not buy rendered from the same source as /advertise.
  • FixedThe MCP incident log showed a hardcoded date next to a promise that the page updates whenever the log changes. It now reads the date from the audit run, so it reflects when servers were last checked.
  • FixedRepaired 109 install commands across all 21 workflows. The audit that fixed the skill catalog in 1.6.0 had never been run against the workflow data. Six pointed at the wrong publisher.
  • FixedThe Design-to-Code workflow pointed at a Figma MCP endpoint that returns a 404. Corrected, and the setup step now notes that a Figma sign-in is expected.

v1.6.0

  • AddedReference page at /ai-skills-directories comparing every agent-skill directory we could verify — operator, catalog size, and what each one checks before listing. Two candidates were left out because their claims could not be read from source, and the page says so.
  • AddedAuthor pages, starting with /authors/vercel-labs — every skill from one publisher, grouped by source repository, with install commands in plain text.
  • Added/advertise, with sponsorship packages, a six-month term on sponsored workflows, and a published list of what sponsorship does not buy.
  • AddedServer-rendered exit links on every skill page, so each one routes into its category, the workflows that use it, and the wider directory.
  • ChangedSkill-page author bylines now link to the author's page here rather than straight out to GitHub, where that page exists.
  • ChangedCategories normalized to 15 canonical values behind a typed union, so a drifted spelling fails the build instead of silently splitting a category. 14 skills that were unreachable from their own category hub are now listed.
  • ChangedEvery user-facing count — skills, MCP servers, categories, platforms — is now derived from the catalog at build time rather than asserted in copy.
  • FixedCorrected /methodology, which described an editorial review of every listing that does not happen. The catalog is selected rather than crawled, and the page now says what listing is not — including that it is not a line-by-line audit.
  • FixedRepaired 156 install commands that could not resolve. The @skill identifier is the SKILL.md frontmatter name, not the directory name.
  • FixedCleared three high-severity advisories that had been failing the Security workflow on every push.

v1.5.0

  • AddedThe Manifest — a weekly newsletter, with a public archive at /newsletter so anyone can read an issue before subscribing, and its own double opt-in confirmation page.
  • AddedNewsletter signup across the site, including the skill pages where most traffic actually lands, each placement tagged separately so the weaker ones can be dropped.
