Vercel
Frontend cloud for Next.js and the AI SDK — serverless and streaming functions with an official MCP server.
Also available as an MCP server
This page covers Vercel the product. To let an agent talk to it over the Model Context Protocol, see the Vercel MCP server.
Overview
Vercel hosts the framework it maintains, Next.js, and the AI SDK that most TypeScript agent front-ends are built on. Functions run on Fluid compute, which is designed for the long, streaming, mostly-idle requests an LLM call produces rather than the short bursts classic serverless assumes. Preview deployments per branch, an official MCP server for managing projects and deployments from an agent, and a marketplace of integrations for the databases and queues around the app.
Why it's indexed
Where the AI SDK lives and where most of the Next.js agent demos in this directory are deployed — the default until a workload outgrows it.
