Qdrant
Open-source vector database in Rust, with rich payload filtering.
Also available as an MCP server
This page covers Qdrant the product. To let an agent talk to it over the Model Context Protocol, see the Qdrant MCP server.
Overview
Qdrant pairs vector similarity with structured payload filters applied during search rather than after it — so a filtered query returns a full result set instead of whatever survives post-filtering. Written in Rust, it runs from a single container up to a distributed cluster.
Why it's indexed
Filtering happens inside the search, so a constrained query still returns a full result set.
